We are seeking an energetic Customer Support Manager to join our busy team at our corporate office in Fremont, CA.  


Customer Support Manager

In this highly productive management role, we will rely on you to manage service of medical capital equipment through a network of  3rd party service technicians. Within this highly-visible role, you will directly impact new sales revenue and long-term customer satisfaction through service events. This individual is responsible for oversight and case management of the service of our products.  The candidate will be responsible for selection and hands on education of our third party service technicians.  This position requires up to 50% travel.  The candidate must have a proven track record with the ability to excel in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.   

Responsibilities:

  • Build service into world class organization
  • Train and certify 3rd party technicians
  • Schedule service appointments
  • Resolve installation defects
  • Provide telephone support to customers and 3rd party technicians
  • Enter spares orders for delivery to customer location
  • Update case documentation identifying root causes to drive corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • This motivated team player will possess the following experience, abilities and skills:
  • 3 years field service experience
  • BSEE/ME/CS Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years working in a management role or position 
  • Medical device company experience a plus
  • Advocate for customers and their needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Products 
  • Mechanically and electronically capable with ability to understand basic equipment functionality
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work in a team environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with accountability, honesty and integrity as key values

 Must be willing to commute to the Fremont, CA area. No relocation compensation.
